About us and our Rosaries
How it all started
As a Catholic since birth, I have always held a very great respect and interest in the Rosary. I remember choosing my very first one when I was around 7 years of age, when my parents took me to Buckfast Abbey in England many years ago. Over the years I built up a collection of Rosaries and Chaplets, from various places from Fatima, to Rome, Walsingham to Medjugorje. But it wasn’t until 2022 that thought it was time to make some myself, which I did and enjoyed greatly.
I was asked to design several Rosaries by members of my Church, it snowballed from there and I have been making them ever since, making it my mission to promote and evangelise the daily praying of the Rosary.
My Wife Wendy converted a few years ago, after I put a movie about Fatima on. Saint Jacinta’s unwavering faith, even when threatened by the authorities that she would be ‘boiled in oil’ if she didn’t deny that she had seen the Blessed Virgin of Fatima, greatly impressed Wendy, who came into the Church at the Easter Vigil. Since then, she has joined me praying the Rosary and other Chaplets daily.
Wendy designs and makes some splendid pouches to protect the Rosaries. They are embroidered and available in leather, faux leather and felt.
About my Rosaries and Chaplets
All my Rosaries are made using the finest components to ensure that you have a Rosary that will serve you a lifetime. Most are one-off designs, though occasionally some will be repeated.
I use Semi-precious Gemstones, Glass and Wooden beads. My Silver-finish Rosaries are wired with silver-plated wire, but generally speaking components described as ‘Silver’ are silver-toned, rather than Sterling Silver. Any gold-finished Rosaries are gold-toned, rather than Gold-plated. Generally I do not use Eye-pins, but make all links myself. This makes for a far more even finish. All sizes given, are approximate. Colours shown on a computer screen, may appear to be slightly different from the actual item, as there are variations between the photos, computer screens and the item.
Our Prayer Book
Our Prayer Book was created as a result of friends and relatives requesting that we add them, or their relatives to our Rosary intentions. We have even been asked to add Pets names!
We thought it would be nice if we could extend this to our Customers as well, so if you have anyone who needs Prayer, then we are happy to add their name to our book. If you prefer, just their first name is all that’s required.
